MPS4x4C-A-S1.5-2-XX – Four channel pyroelectric detector

This pyroelectric detector uses sensitive elements based on MEMS technology. The pyroelectric element consists of an approximately 0.5 µm thinfilm Ceramic Pyroelectrical Material (CPM) mounted on a modified silicon-based membrane. The front electrode is optically transparent allowing infrared radiation to be absorbed by the active area with a broad absorption range from 2 – 15 µm. IR Flame detection and NDIR gas analysis are the main application fields.

Selection of IR emitters and detectors in the Micro-Hybrid online shop to order small volumes as a test package. The NDIR bundles contain a NAC based emitter and a highly sensitive thermopile dual detector with a narrow band filter, optimized for the selected target gas and a second reference channel. You can shop kits online for different gases: carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, nitrous oxide, nitrogen monoxide, hydrocarbons, sulphur dioxide, alcohols and sulphur hexafluoride.

JSIR 360-4 IR source - High-end black silicon IR-emitter

High-end MEMS based infrared emitter with black-silicon emission layer with true black body radiation characteristic for NDIR gas analysis in the long wave length range for ambitious medical and industrial applications. Hot-plate temperatures up to 700 °C in combination with emission coefficient ɛ ~ 1enable highest radiation intensities. In addition, JSIR 360 IR sources have a long lifetime thanks to their thermal-mechanical adjusted membrane and a spectral drift free behavior.
